Claims Assistant

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
Answering and directing phone calls Assisting with emails Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments Developing and maintaining a filing system Providing general support to visitors by answering questions and requests Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Keep constant communication with the Admin staff from other counties, ensuring messages and notices are sent in a timely matter Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Reply to email, telephone or face to face inquiries Receive, sort and distribute the mail Assist with event planning and attend events (usually 1-2 Saturdays of the month) Maintain the office, and keep it looking presentable (take out trash, wipe down tables, disenfect toys etc.
) Assist with claims/billing Job
Qualifications:
Ability to work Monday - Friday between 4pm-8pm, for 20-25 hours Previous office experience is a plus! Knowledge of the ABA industry is a plus! Proficiency in computer applicants such as Microsoft Office and Excel Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures such as filing, record keeping, and operation of standard office equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage time, coordinate schedules, and adapt to change under strict deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task Spanish speaking is required!
