Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets upon arrival - Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients - Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal handling during examinations and procedures - Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping - Process payments for services rendered and maintain accurate financial records - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred - Knowledge of pet care, animal physiology, and aseptic techniques - Familiarity with animal handling and restraint techniques - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in computer systems and software used for scheduling appointments and managing client information Please note that additional training will be provided to enhance your skills in areas such as animal catheterization, kennel management, equine care, dog training, etc.
