Summary:
The Director of Marketing will create and implement an integrated marketing and communications plan that serves the core missions of Southern California Orthopedic Institute:
patient care, research and education.
Responsible for managing all aspects of marketing including managing the members of the marketing team.
In this role, you will provide guidance and direction for marketing strategies and plans for SCOI and lead strategic growth programs, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with the medical community and referral sources, responding to requests and concerns.
This will include the identifying of marketing direction and execution of strategy in all markets and forms of marketing, as well as owning the overall marketing initiative.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following.
1.
Reports to work as scheduled each day.
2.
Acts in a manner that is indicative of team spirit and cooperation.
3.
Works cooperatively as a team member and supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI).
4.
Complies with SCOI Policy and Procedures.
5.
Upholds the goal of patient satisfaction and high service.
6.
Directs all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing plans.
7.
Ensures maximum return on marketing spend.
8.
Assists leadership in establishing the annual budget and in establishing allocations for the marketing department.
Monitors allocation of all marketing resources.
9.
Continuously conducts market assessments and develops and modifies marketing plans designed to meet established goals.
10.
Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve goals.
11.
Recruits, selects, orients, and directly manages members of the marketing team.
12.
Provides leadership in planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved initiatives to meet market and/or patient needs.

Knowledge of the services provided within a medical group practice and a strong understanding of sub-specialty orthopedic practice and ambulatory surgery centers.

Experience in managing the entirety of marketing programs; direct marketing, print & media, social media, etc.
