Maintain individual provider files to include up to date information needed to complete the required governmental and commercial payer credentialing applications Maintain internal provider grid to ensure all information is accurate and logins are available Update each provider's database file and maintain accurate provider profiles Maintain a comprehensive provider roster for required payers Complete credentialing applications to add providers to contracted payers, including Commercial and Medicaid Complete provider re-credentialing applications to all contracted payers Maintain current demographic information for all credentialed providers on external payer portals Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Director and billing staff to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing Must Haves Knowledge of provider credentialing and its direct impact on the organization's revenue cycle Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Internet use Detail oriented with above average organizational skills Plans and prioritizes to meet deadlines Excellent customer service skills; communicates clearly and effectively High School Diploma or GED 1
years credentialing experience preferred 1

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
