POSITION SUMMARY Front Desk Receptionist directs people both externally and internally to the appropriate contact via telephone using a multi-line phone system or in person.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets visitors; ensures a positive welcoming environment at the front desk and entrance.
Answers telephone and directs calls to proper individuals using multi-line phone systems.
Assists all callers and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.
Follow incoming inquiry script.
Determine the reason for their call, and answer questions or directing their request to a different department as necessary.
Assist with overall maintenance of the organization and its offices.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers and telephone systems.
Demonstrated computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as applicable.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to multi-task.
