Van Nuys based organic foods processor is seeking a well-versed senior programmer.

The SAP ABAP Developer will be working as a member of the SAP development team and will be responsible for the delivery of ABAP program assets based on technical specifications (and may be called upon to fill gaps in specifications with expert knowledge).
The ABAP Developer is expected to provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation and support, being his/her primary focus during the design and development phases of projects and on user support.
The primary responsibilities involve design, coding, unit/product testing, provide estimates, respond to user/functional inquiries.

POSITION DESCRIPTION -
Responsibilities:
Work with Business Analysts (BA), User Advocates (UA), and consultants to understand business users requirements for new ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversion programs and forms.
Provide estimates in a timely manner, and communicate deliverable status to the customer, which include BAs, UAs, consultants and end users.
Code, test, analyze and implement new applications and changes to existing applications.
Design technical solutions that operate efficiently in high data volume scenarios.
Define solution requirements and software specifications.
Provide support including troubleshooting, debugging and problem resolution.
Review, analyze, and modify programming to include coding, testing, debugging and installing programs to support business applications.
Develop and maintain appropriate documentation including System Design and Technical Documentation.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Possesses proven programming skills with SAP software and associated programming tools: ABAP and the SAP developers workbench.
Track record of full project lifecycle and development activities.
Ability to transform business function requirement into technical program specs, and to code, unit test and debug programs.
Experience writing custom forms using SAPScript and/or Smartforms.
Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, BDC coding and interfaces.
Experience with SAP Hana, SAP Fiori, SAP Personas, SAP Archiving object, and/or UI5 highly desirable.
Demonstrated understanding of relational databases, data storage and SQL concepts.
Understanding of data structures and data objects.
Ability to support SAP application consultants and SAP users
Ability to code SAP enhancements and maintain quality design, code and test solutions with minimal assistance from other resources.
Ability to provide accurate and timely project management information.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills for working with the functional teams, development specialists, and the SAP support team. Must have solid written skills to support program documentation.
Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire new technology skills
Self-motivated with excellent initiative and a strong work ethic.
Results-oriented team player, with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS - WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB:
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field (such as Computer Programming or MIS) or equivalent experience is required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP, including structured programming required
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Experience in Food or CPG (consumer packaged goods) a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
