The U.S. solar industry added more than 31,000 jobs in 2014, a growth rate of 21.8%, that shows employment in the solar industry is expanding at 20 times the pace of the overall economy, according an annual survey from the nonprofit Solar Foundation. Our company is growing rapidly and we need qualified sales consultants to help our customers make the transition to Solar Energy!

Summary:
As a Solar Sales Consultant you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the company by executing sales opportunities in the customers' homes. We have qualified leads waiting for you RIGHT NOW!!!
Compensation: Commission Based, competitive with top producers $200K+ annually.
Job Responsibilities:
o Become an expert in residential/commercial solar, process, and benefits.
o Have the ability to build trust and rapport with prospective customers
o Conduct in-home consultations including an accurate in-home needs assessments and corresponding analysis
o Deliver outstanding presentations that create a high sense of urgency to act now
o Exceptional organizational and administrative skills are imperative for post-sale contract completion
o Generate additional revenue through networking and referrals
o Participating in company meetings, ongoing training, development and certifications
o Communicate and share best practices with team
Requirements:
o Self-motivated, professional, positive attitude, and high enthusiasm
o Willingness to learn and must be entrepreneurial minded
o Professional appearance and effective interpersonal skills
o Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
o Collaborative style with internal and external customers
o Ability to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends
o Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and insurance
o Must pass a background check and driving record check
o Must have flexibility to work weekends and evening
Skills:
o 2-5 years sales experience preferred (solar, construction, and sales experience a plus)
o Bilingual is a plus, but not required
o Computer basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and general competency in Internet navigation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
